Dear Humboldt County Community:

We were grieved to learn that an incident of racial hatred occurred within our community. It happened in the roofing trade. This incident does not represent all roofers and roofing companies of Humboldt County. We'd like to take this opportunity to increase awareness and emphasize the seriousness of racial hatred. We support the response of the Coalition of Local People Working for Equity as published on the Lost Coast Outpost link below, and the call for a more welcoming Humboldt County community.
