🌱 New Grass Height Ordinance Goes into Effect May 5 🌱

On April 1, Fostoria City Council amended ordinances 1355.02, 917.02, and 1307.02, all of which relate to permissible grass height within city limits.

Starting Monday, May 5, the City will begin enforcing the updated maximum grass height of 6 inches.

This ordinance was passed during a public council meeting, but we’re sharing it here and through other channels to ensure our community is well-informed and prepared.

Keeping grass trimmed not only improves curb appeal—it also helps maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all.
