From Dec back filling around house to 3 weeks ago starting out here doing rough Final Grading, we have built a 45 block retaining wall 10ft tall in back and 8ft wall in front at garage, to cut and grading 4800 Cubic yards of dirt around clearing .5 acre of land, this is by far the biggest job I have done since being in business out on my own! Rain and snow didn’t help but we didn’t let that slow us down! Very happy customer, we will be back in few months for install of concrete driveway!

Well I can’t believe it’s Been 5 years since I went out on my own with Grading and Clearing!! Working for my dad as a mechanic and running his equipment at very young age with his Business I learned most everything from him and still to this day learning alittle! Also to my uncle teaching me the Commercial side of grading Business and many others along the way! Most importantly the women that supported me the most my Amazing Wife Kendra Byrd with the Ups and Downs of owning your business! I wouldn’t change it for the world, and now with me opening up my New Business Byrds Marine Construction we are so excited for the next 25 years has in store! Thank y’all

This was a fun but alot of work Back filling this basement area for this going to be beautiful home in New Bern this week, beautiful view to work this week 🌊, we will be back in few weeks to do final grade and a massive transition to this property! Yall stay tuned! (That’s 14ft deep in spots)
