It’s been a bit since an update.
The garden is mostly planted. Peas, 2 types of green beans (trellis and bush) broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, sweet corn, popping corn, Indian corn, tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, dill, trellised cucumbers and pickling cucumbers. Strawberries, grape vine, 2 types of raspberries, and asparagus. Lawn fabric put down this year. Watering system set up. Everything labeled. Separate watermelon patch next to garden, pumpkin patch on the other side of the yard. Really just need to catch up on a massive  amount of weeding in the strawberries, raspberries, and asparagus, then redo the fence with its upgraded version.
On top of that we planted 2 Alexandrina Magnolia trees and 12 lilac trees along the property line.
I also planted as pleasantly surprised to find several dozen sunflowers 🌻 come up this year in the sunflower “hedge” from last year.
And then just to be extra and because I obviously don’t have enough going on, I planted a dozen daliahs, a few daylilies, some iris, some peonies around the buildings, 2 lilac bushes by the house and currently have a plan for a seasonal perennial flower bed along the front of the house with plants I already bought and should probably find the motivation to dig out the current flower bed, add new dirt and get planted.
Oh! And the 2 mulberry trees we started 3 years ago as bare roots now stand as tall as me and there’s a few berries starting this year.
