Called out to a boiler/ vent fire fix at Camp Edwards on Cape Cod. I am amazed the vent held the fire! It was caused by soot buildup at the collar as it was not serviced since install. Unfortunately it was at the base fire station . We will be back with new vent pipe working alongside the boiler replacement company. In our industry we never know what we will go to or see when we get there for sure. Some fun vehicles to see in base also 😎.

Privileged to have had the inventor, Tom M, as well as ‘s Ron V and Jon W at our shop this AM for product introduction and training . This line of products will be replacing our old line of the same. Not too long ago (less than 100 years ) this was the coal heated water system and tank at our clients home. Fire up the coal stove and the huge tank stores the water . This system is pretty easy to understand compared to our modern day systems for sure !

We are pleased to join the Northeast Hearth, Patio and Barbecue Association. An organization that does one heck of a lot for our trade. Our regional affiliate (Northeast) provides educational opportunities, advocates for fair regulations and legislation(BIG ONE), promotes safety and standards and supports member businesses like this one .

Other than residential we do provide commercial services. Here we installed a new horizontal run complete with condensate lines and the rigid vent pipe inside the chimney to complete from the appliance to the vertical termination above the roof. Imagine kneeling in front of your fireplace… reaching in and opening the damper and getting some little eyes staring back… sometimes many. Here we are removing a squirrels nest after that happened and the animal was removed. We are asked all the time what’s the worst or best thing we have “cleaned” out of a chimney or fireplace or heating flue . Best and worst are up for debate another time lol Inspect and / or sweep your flue/ chimney yearly .. trust me .

High above Walpole center couple years ago. We installed some special gas vents for new boilers at the old police station in the town center . 85 ft oscillating lift/ police detail and a little skill .
