🌿 Japanese Knotweed 🌿
Japanese knotweed spreads aggressively through its underground root system, allowing it to expand rapidly once established.
Its vigorous rhizomes can push through cracks in pavement, damage hardscapes, and even compromise building foundations and retaining walls over time. What may begin as a small patch can quickly become a major problem if left unmanaged.
That’s why early identification and strategic treatment are so important. At Green Abundance by Design, we specialize in long-term invasive plant management designed to control and reduce knotweed effectively. 🌱

🌿 The Edible Forest Garden 🌿
Olin College reached out to us with a student-led initiative focused on bringing edible plants and ecological design to their campus — and we were excited to help bring that vision to life.
This project is an Edible Forest Garden: a layered planting system designed to provide food, biodiversity, and long-term ecological value all within a beautiful, immersive landscape. 🌱🍓
What makes this project especially meaningful is the collaboration behind it. Seeing students push for more sustainable and productive landscapes is exactly the kind of forward-thinking approach we love to support.
We’re honored to be part of this initiative and can’t wait to show you how this space grows and evolves over time.

🌿 Invasive Plants — Before & After 🌿
This is what invasive plant management looks like.
What was once overgrown and dominated by invasive species has now been cleared and reset — creating space for healthier, more balanced growth moving forward. 🌱
Effective invasive management takes strategy, persistence, and proper timing. But the results speak for themselves.
At Green Abundance by Design, we help properties across the community move from invasive pressure toward long-term ecological health and restoration.

🌿 Japanese Knotweed 🌿
You can see just how aggressively Japanese knotweed spreads. Once established, it quickly takes over landscapes through its powerful underground rhizome system, crowding out native plants and becoming increasingly difficult to control over time.
That’s why proper management is so important. Strategic timing, consistent treatment, and a long-term plan are key to successfully reducing and controlling this invasive species. 🌱
At Green Abundance by Design, invasive plant management is one of the most important things we do — helping restore balance and protect properties across the community.

🌿 We’re Mowing Different Out Here 🌿
Are you ready to mow different?
At Green Abundance by Design, we believe landscapes should do more than just sit there. They should bloom, move, support wildlife, and bring life back into the community. 🌼🐝
From mowable meadows to native plant systems and flowering lawns, we offer multiple ways to rethink the traditional landscape and create something far more alive and meaningful.
The question is…how do you want to mow different?

🌿 Invasive Plant Management Matters 🌿
Invasive plant management is one of the most important services we provide at Green Abundance by Design.
These species spread aggressively, overwhelm native ecosystems, and become harder to control with every passing season. That’s why thoughtful, strategic management is so critical.
Over the years, we’ve proudly removed acres of invasive species from properties across the Boston MetroWest area — helping restore balance, protect habitats, and create space for native plants to thrive once again. 🌱
It’s work we take seriously, and it’s truly an honor to help steward these landscapes back toward health.
We look forward to serving your property in the same way.

🌿 3 Phases of Green Abundance 🌿
Here we are at Olin College, where we’ve been given the exciting opportunity to install three of our premiere landscape concepts each representing a different approach to rethinking the lawn.
🌳 The Edible Forest GardenA layered planting designed to produce food while creating a resilient and diverse ecosystem.
🌼 The Flowering LawnA softer, more ecological alternative to traditional turf that still maintains an approachable lawn aesthetic.
🌾 The Native MeadowA fully immersive habitat system filled with native wildflowers and grasses that support pollinators and biodiversity.
Together, these installations showcase the range of possibilities that Green Abundance by Design brings to the landscape from edible systems to low-maintenance ecological lawns and fully native habitats.
We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity Olin College has provided and excited to see these spaces grow, evolve, and inspire new perspectives on what a lawn can become.

🌾 Out in the Wild — A Native Meadow Done Right 🌾
On my way to meet a client, I came across this stunning native meadow — and had to stop.
This is exactly what we love to see. A landscape that’s alive with texture, movement, and seasonal color. It’s one of the most beautiful examples of a native meadow, and a reminder of what’s possible when we let landscapes evolve naturally. 🌼🐝
Seeing spaces like this spreading through the community is powerful. It means perspectives are shifting. It means people are choosing something better.
Absolutely amazing — bravo to this property.

🌿 Designing with Intention 🌿
These are the guiding principles behind what we do at Green Abundance by Design.
In this space, we’re creating a series of garden “rooms” — each area offering a different experience as you move through the landscape. One space might feel open and sun-filled, another more enclosed and quiet. Each transition is intentional. 🌼
This is where the design in Green Abundance by Design truly comes to life. It’s not just about plants — it’s about how a space feels, how it flows, and how each part connects to the next.
Our goal is simple: to create landscapes that are immersive, dynamic, and personal — spaces our clients can experience, not just look at.

At Green Abundance by Design, we offer meadow options that fit your space and your vision — from mowable transitions to fully native systems and structured suburban designs.
The question is simple:Will you make the decision today?
