Drainage ran, yard graded, ready for SOD tomorrow on this property in spring Hill,TN. For some hard/rough clay base dirt the Harley rake was necessary to get a soft bed of dirt for SOD.
I wish the prior pool contractor didn't spread gravel all over the entire yard...grass should take nonetheless.

Drainage project we did yesterday In Columbia TN. Client was dealing with massive amounts of flooding in their backyard coming down that hill. It was building up against their home and flooding the inside.
To fix this serious flooding we chose to install a large ditch/swale at the top of the hill to prevent the majority of the water from coming down.
We then added another layer of protection by grading the yard in a way that would catch the water and bring it around each side of the house towards the road.
For the last line of defense we installed a French drain system with two catch basins spanning across the back of the house right near the back patio.
This client will never deal drainage issues again to say the least.
