Well… we need to apologize because our event signage is a little outdated in the best possible way.... 😅💙

When we finalized everything for the Spring Festival, Maverick’s Legacy was celebrating 10 lives saved.

We are incredibly grateful (and emotional) to share that we now know of an ELEVENTH life saved because of our efforts in memory of Maverick. 💙

This newest save involved a local elementary school student, thanks to the quick actions of her school nurse using a LifeVac device, after standard choking protocols (Heimlich maneuver) failed to remove the blockage.

Out of respect for the family, we do not want to share additional details until we have spoken with the young girl’s parents, but we wanted our community to know why this mission matters so deeply to us.

THIS is why we do what we do.
This is why awareness matters.
This is why access to choking rescue devices matters.

And this is exactly why we hope you’ll come out to our Spring Festival this Saturday to learn more about Maverick’s Legacy, LifeVac, choking prevention, and the work being done right here in our community.

We had the honor of meeting Maverick's parents at the last vendor show.
Hearing their story of how they turned their pain into purpose is truly admirable.

All proceeds of this event will be used to provide LifeVac devices to schools and first responders. They have already donated over 2,300 LifeVacs!
