Why Attention to Detail Matters:

Sometimes it's the smallest details that make the biggest difference.

Today we installed a new motor on this door. During the installation, we noticed a small but important detail: the upper self-tapping screw was missing. In the first photo, you'll see where it's absent. In the second photo, you'll see the screw after we installed it.

So why does this fastener matter?

That upper screw helps keep the bearing and head plate properly aligned. Without it, normal operation can allow the assembly to shift from side to side over time. As the movement increases, the bearing and head plate can become misaligned, causing the bearing to wear against the shaft. Eventually, that wear can damage or even cut into the shaft, leading to costly repairs and unnecessary downtime.

Details like this may seem minor, but they're essential to the long-term reliability and performance of your door system.
At the end of the day, quality isn't just about getting the job done, it's about making sure it's done right.
