🚨 Freezing Temps Ahead! Protect Your Pipes! ❄️🚰

Cold weather can wreak havoc on your plumbing! Follow these Procare Services tips to prevent frozen pipes and avoid costly damage:

✅ Let Faucets Drip – Running water helps prevent freezing.
✅ Insulate Pipes – Wrap exposed pipes in foam insulation or heat tape.
✅ Open Cabinets – Allow warm air to circulate around pipes under sinks.
✅ Keep the Heat On – Set your thermostat to at least 55°F, even if you’re away.
✅ Seal Drafts – Close gaps where cold air can reach pipes.
✅ Disconnect Hoses – Drain and store outdoor hoses to prevent burst spigots.

🚨 If a Pipe Freezes:
🔹 Keep the faucet open.
🔹 Apply gentle heat (hair dryer, heating pad – NO open flames!).
🔹 Check for leaks once thawed.

💧 If a Pipe Bursts:
❗ Turn off the main water supply immediately!
🔌 Shut off electricity if water is near outlets.
