We haven't had any rain in a bit... might need to water the lawn. This is why we recommend cutting at 3.5-4 inches. When your grass is longer it will retain water longer, create a shade barrier for the soil, have a more lush color, and overall have a healthier appearance. Shorter turf is always more susceptible to drought and heat conditions.

Cut the lawn yesterday for the first time in 4 weeks. It was driving me crazy but with no rain and warmer temps I had no choice. Fast forward to the cut tho and my lawn looks amazing. It was showing signs of heat stress and insect damage. Cutting the lawn would have only added stress to it. I also would have needed to water the lawn or areas may have gone dormant due to the heat and lack of rain. I did add 15bmins of water at the end of my cut. I plan on doing a video soon to address the spots I renovated (not great results) and another video addressing signs from the lawn to see what it needs.

Watering again today (3 days in a row) but mainly due to my daughter wanting to run through the sprinklers... 2 birds 1 stone! You can definitely notice the browning in my lawn but it was worse before I started watering.
