Dozer Day® coming to Ritchie Bros. in Longmont on June 21–22, 2025.

Dozer Day is a one-of-a-kind, family-friendly event where kids get the chance to operate real construction equipment—yes, actual dozers, excavators, and backhoes—with guidance from professional operators. It’s not just about the wow-factor for kids; it’s also about building awareness around careers in utility construction and giving back to the community.

This year, we’re proud to support Food for Thought, a local nonprofit fighting childhood hunger, with some of the proceeds from the event.

Here’s how a business can get involved:

• Sponsor an activity booth (included in every sponsorship level this year) we are open to options for this kid friendly activity and booth
• Connect with the community and promote your services
• Participate in the informal job fair: Use your booth to share job opportunities with the thousands of adults attending with their kids—it’s a great way to recruit!

Joel Burd started with E-Z Excavating in February of 1984 as a laborer and the first employee. He is now our operations manager and celebrated 39 years with the company.
