Thinking back to when we attended the alongside 100+ tradeswomen from all over the DMV.
We knew how proud tradeswomen are of their craft and their teams. But we learned that they want more to feel truly skilled.
💛Tradeswomen want clear, actionable protocols for reporting safety and harassment violations on the job (and they want swift, transparent follow up).
💛Tradeswomen want refreshers on reading drawings.
💛Tradeswomen also want to learn more about their industry - especially Estimating & essential technology (Bluebeam, Microsoft).
Elevating women at work and allyship with the LGBTQ+ community both challenge gender norms, expand leadership, and create safer, more inclusive workplaces. Supporting women's advancement strengthens solidarity, amplifies diverse voices, and helps everyone thrive.
