Sometimes we spend years creating for others what we’re still dreaming of creating for ourselves.

I still remember the first time I interviewed Ben for his branding video and asked how he got into the floor-coating business.

He had always been a car enthusiast and wanted his own garage to look good. He believed garages didn’t have to be dusty, messy, forgotten spaces—they could be beautiful, functional extensions of our homes.

And funny enough, this was back in 2023, when we had just started dating too. ❤️

At the time, Ben lived in a townhouse with a one-car garage and drove his work truck. For years, he built other people’s dream garages while dreaming of having the space for his own—and his sports car.

Then came November 2025—our new home, an unfinished two-car garage, and finally his blank canvas.

And Ben being Ben, he didn’t just do the floor. 😂

Over the next nine months, with his team helping on the floor coating and painting, he personally built out the storage, lighting, electrical work, and all the details that brought his vision together—mostly at night, on weekends, and between running two businesses.

By August 2026, it was complete. Today, it’s our dream garage and our working showroom, where we meet clients, share ideas, and design their custom garages.

There’s something special about watching a vision someone talked about years ago become reality. ❤️

So proud of you, Ben. I can’t wait to see what else we build together. ❤️

8,000 Sq. Ft. Commercial Garage Floor Transformation, Frederick, MD!

Extraordinary cars deserve a space that reflects the care they receive.

This commercial garage stores and maintains luxury and collectible cars for its clients. But as you’ll see in the before photos, the worn, damaged floor didn’t reflect the beautiful vehicles—or the level of service—inside.

This week, after long hours and weekends of hard work, our team delivered a transformation we’re proud of. Seeing that tired concrete become a beautiful, glossy floor made every hour worth it.

Now, the space feels ready to welcome the cars and the people who treasure them. Just beautiful.

Dark, modern, and effortlessly balanced. This two-car garage pairs bold charcoal walls with gray-and-white flake flooring for an edgy yet timeless look. Bright hex lighting and a white ceiling keep the darker palette from feeling heavy, while coordinating gray slat walls add streamlined storage. A cohesive design that turns a practical garage into a stylish extension of the home. Save for your garage makeover inspiration!

When we moved into our new home, one of the first things that caught my attention was the concrete driveway.

It looked beautiful, but I couldn’t stop wondering… How do I keep it looking this way? What about oil stains, winter salt, or years of weather?

So today, we power washed and professionally sealed our own driveway.

I believe in using the same products and processes on my own home that I recommend to our customers. If it’s not good enough for my family, it’s not good enough for yours.

Sometimes the smartest home improvements aren’t the most noticeable—they’re the ones that quietly protect your investment for years to come.

Next on Joy’s project list… decorating the front porch and creating the perfect little spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

What makes a PRO-level garage floor installation?

It’s not just flakes and a shiny finish.
It’s the system. The prep. The discipline.

At Castle Floor Coatings, every floor we install follows a structured, industrial-grade process — from diamond grinding (never acid wash) to UV-stable polyaspartic topcoats designed to last.

We don’t cut corners.
We don’t skip steps.
We don’t “just coat concrete.”

We build performance floors.

Every project we complete becomes our real testimonial.
Most of our content comes straight from active job sites and client referrals — not staged marketing.

And that only happens because of one thing:
Your trust.

Thank you for allowing us into your homes and garages and for choosing quality over shortcuts.

If you’re investing in your garage, make sure you understand the system behind the shine.

Drop a 🔥 if you appreciate craftsmanship done right!
