Mother Nature: “Respectfully… that’s not your decision.” 😂

Emergency calls don’t care what time it is.

Around 8:00 PM, while we were wrapping up another job and dreaming about finally calling it a day, we got the call: a large lead had split and was on a house.

So we packed up one site, rolled straight to the next, and got to work.

Saturday evening emergency call. 🌳🏠

Around 4:30 PM, we got the call no homeowner wants to make, a large limb had failed and landed on their house.

This wasn’t a “grab a chainsaw and go” kind of job.

🪢 5 ropes.
👷 4 people.
🌳 2 trees used as rigging points.

Every piece was carefully rigged and lowered to prevent further damage. The ropes did the lifting, but communication made the job possible. Every cut, every pull, and every piece was called out before it happened.

Once we opened the tree up, the cause was obvious: extensive internal decay. We’re grateful everyone was safe and proud of our crew for answering the call after hours and getting the job done safely. 💪

Customer: “I think it has to come down.”

Us: “Let’s not send it to the wood chipper just yet.”

After taking a closer look, we recommended a canopy lift and deadwood removal instead.

The result? The yard feels twice as open, the tree is healthier, and we’re all happier that this giant gets to stick around for a while longer. We love removing hazardous trees. We love saving healthy ones even more. 🌳💚

Every tree tells a story but eventually, some stories need an ending.

This cottonwood had stood for 75+ years and reached nearly 80 feet tall, but time had taken its toll. Dead trees don’t get safer with age…. They just get better at keeping you guessing.

Sometimes the biggest job is knowing when it’s time to say goodbye.

The tenants didn’t exactly get a 30-day notice. 🦝 We found a couple little guys tucked away during the removal and made sure they got a safe ride to a new home before the work continued.

Big trees. Safe removals. Happy raccoons.

We have been so busy with work that I forgot I needed to post pictures… don’t tell the boss!

The photos below are real examples of hidden decay, weak branch attachments, and structural failures that led to major breakage.
