Job Responsibilities:
· Mowing, trimming, and edging lawns for builder, developer, and HOA properties
· Mulching and pruning to enhance landscape appearance
· Performing routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
· Operating hand tools and power tools for landscaping tasks
· Assisting with snow removal during winter months
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Previous experience in landscape maintenance is required
✅ Ability to safely operate lawn care equipment, hand tools, and power tools, such as Zero Turn, Walk Behind, String Trimmers and Ventrac.
✅ Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting
✅ Physical ability to lift heavy objects, dig, and perform manual labor

CHS is looking for a full-time mechanic for our fleet.

We have a fleet of approximately 40 pick-up trucks and a couple Ford F450 and F550 single axle dump trucks. We have both Chevrolet and Ford, diesel, and gas. The job duties are to include, but are not limited to, all general maintenance, routine DOT inspections, engine swaps, exhaust systems, minor body work, etc.

We have Case, Caterpillar, and Takeuchi track and wheel skid loaders. Maintenance and repair of engine and hydraulic systems on these machines is also required. Small engine repair and snow equipment experience is required.

Performing road calls will be required.

Our building has 2 drive thru bays, 1 standard bay, and 2 hydraulic lifts.

Requirements:
- 5 years hands on experience with references
- Must have own tools
- Must have valid state issued drivers license
- Medical DOT card
- Current driving record (non-certified)

Job description:
We are a grading/seeding, production landscape, special excavation, mowing/maintenance and snow removal company in Frederick, MD. We work in MD, WV, and VA. We work with new home builders and other contractors installing silt fence and super silt fence, new yards (seed and sod), shrub packages, fine grading around foundations, mowing/maintenance, and snow removal. This is a full time position and year round work.

Type of work/job responsibilities:
- Mowing, bush hog, weedeat
- Tree, Shrub, and flower planting
- Mulch
- Pruning
- Sod work and Grading
- Hardscape installation - Patios, walkways, retaining walls

CHS Traffic Control Services, Inc. will be closed on Wednesday, 4/13/22, to allow our employees and staff to attend the Memorial Service for Patty V. who was tragically lost on the job April 1st. She has been with our company since 2016. We are all deeply saddened by her loss.

Services for Patty will be held Wednesday, April 13th. Viewing is at 10 am, followed by the service at 11 am.

Services will be held at Stauffer Funeral Home 1100 N Maple Ave Brunswick, MD 21716.

Anyone who knew her is welcome to attend.

The 13th is also Work Zone Awareness Day. Please consider wearing orange to honor Patty's memory.
