We are currently looking for eager, hardworking and self-motivated individuals who live in Northern Virginia to join our growing team. Our Technicians combine knowledge & skills with excellent customer service to exceed customer’s expectations.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The AV Project Manager position is focused on maintaining client relationships. The project manager will also be responsible for driving projects from beginning to end with focus on quality and time control. Project Managers will develop objectives, project requirements, and manage project risk and constraints. The AV Project Manager will plan, execute, and finalize projects within budget according to the deadlines given by clients. The Project Manager will also ensure safety and quality control through completion of the project.

Cultivate and maintain customer relationships to secure and expand business opportunities. Communicate with technicians and upper management to keep all informed of customer and job requirements, Resolving customer issues and concerns or plan deviations; Monitor installation activities closely to ensure project is delivered on schedule, within budget while looking for opportunities to educate installation technicians. Monitor work to ensure proper quality assurance practices are maintained, always leaving any project better than we found it. Represent the company in client project meetings. Participate in all meetings, conference calls and company required meetings throughout the year as assigned by your manager. Ensure all project close-outs are completed efficiently and accurately. Manage customer acceptance and sign off of the projects. Complete all project closeouts, including site walks, and punch list item completion.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience: AV project manager experience is a must, unless you are applying for technician position. Documented experience in coordinating and acting as project oversight for AV projects. Experience in leading a crew of technicians, site supervision, construction environments, managing technical resources and technology roll-outs. Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans. Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills; able to establish and lead positive working relations with large clients.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Strong knowledge of AV and Security System industry including technology, quality and safety standards. Ability to supervise and train employees. This position requires handling confidential information in an appropriate manner. Customer interactions must be handled with diplomacy and tact. Individual must be able to gauge the customer's technical ability and communicate with them in appropriate technical or non-technical language. Excellent Customer Service skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team setting. Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedure Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary. Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude. Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position. Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player. Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees. Occasional travel is required.

Responsibilities and Duties

Job Description

Interact and communicate well with customers. Responsible for evaluating and installing equipment for our customers home or business. Install and service authorized equipment in customers' homes or business. Maintain high levels of quality and service with all installation jobs. Ensure on-time arrival to daily customer appointments. Exhibit professional appearance and conduct while providing a world-class customer experience. Promote and sell additional equipment and services to customers during each visit. Explain and provide detailed system capabilities and operational instructions to customers. Work safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property and loss of materials and equipment. Clean installation debris in each home after all service and installation visits. Maintain and manage adequate inventory levels of product and equipment. Accurately complete necessary paperwork, including work orders, customer contracts, and time clock punches. Report to installation Manager Status updates of current and upcoming tasks.

Qualifications and Skills

Skills / Requirements

**Audio Visual Experience is a plus**

High School Diploma or GED is required
Technical diploma, Certificate of Completion, Military experience is a plus. Bilingual skills is a plus
Submit to a criminal history check and obtain clearance from the state based on the state requirements.
Reliable transportation
Current, valid driver's license with no restrictions.
Must have basic knowledge of and ability to operate hand and power tools
Must own or purchase required hand tools before start date.
Must remain smoke-free while on site with customers and while operating fleet vehicles
Excellent organizational/time management skills
Available to work the required shift that will be presented to you prior to being hired (could include evenings and weekend hours).
Stay standing for extended periods of time.
Be able to lift up to 31 lbs. at one time and carry from one place to another.
Be able to safely maneuver through shallow attics and crawl underneath homes
