We are seeking an experienced Safety Professional to join our team in Sumterville, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety-focused professional with strong MSHA experience who is ready to start immediately.

Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all applicable MSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements.
Conduct safety inspections, audits, and observations.
Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns.
Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting.
Work closely with site management and field personnel to promote a strong safety culture.
Provide guidance and support to supervisors and employees regarding safe work practices.

Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of experience in a safety role.
Minimum 3+ years of safety experience in an MSHA-regulated environment.
Supervisor experience in an MSHA environment may be considered in lieu of direct safety experience.
Current MSHA Part 46 Certification required.
Strong knowledge of MSHA regulations, policies, and best practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced field environment.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting mining, aggregate, quarry, or heavy industrial operations.
OSHA certifications or additional safety credentials are a plus.
