New to the trade, all in on the team. Meet Nathan. ⚡

Say hey to Nathan Sissick - one of the guys keeping Superior running across Northeastern PA.

Nathan's got a year in the electrical field and he's spent it growing with our crew, comfortable working both high and low voltage. But ask him what he likes most about the job and it's not the wiring - it's the people. Working alongside the whole team is what makes the work better, and that's the kind of attitude that shows up in every install. 💪

He's not slowing down, either. Nathan's currently studying Electrical Construction Technology at Johnson College - leveling up his skills and building a real future in the trade.

August was all about the power behind the property. ⚡

This month our crew went deep into the electrical work that keeps NEPA running — the stuff most people never see, but everything depends on:

🏗 20-unit apartment build in Hazleton — running conduit up the brick, landing feeders into the meter bank, and making up clean terminations to keep a major residential project on schedule and up to code.

🔦 Office complex rescue — a failed underground line knocked out their parking lot and building lights. We trenched 50 feet, ran new conduit, and had them back up and running in 24 hours.

Cameras and networks are what we're known for — but the electrical backbone is what makes it all work. When a NEPA business or builder needs it done right, they call us.

Out here in Northeastern PA, plenty of properties sit too far off the grid for solid internet. This rural build was one of them — so we brought the connection to them.

We installed a Starlink satellite system and wired it straight into a professionally built network rack — patch panel, switch, clean cable management, done right. The result: fast, dependable internet and a real network backbone ready for cameras, WiFi, phones, and whatever comes next.

No cable company out there? No problem. 💪

Meet Braden Kiddish - Security Camera Technician at Superior Surveillance & Communications.

Not everyone finds a favorite type of project—and Braden doesn't want to. For him, every camera installation is different, every property has its own challenges, and that's exactly what keeps the job interesting.

Over the past 2 years, Braden has built hands-on experience installing security camera systems while continuing to expand his skills in the field. Long before joining Superior, he was already learning the value of hard work alongside his father, tackling stairs, molding, and a wide variety of handyman projects that taught him the importance of doing things the right way.

When he's off the clock, you'll probably find him on the baseball field ⚾, unwinding with friends, or at a heavy metal concert 🤘. Whether he's working or relaxing, Braden brings the same positive attitude and willingness to learn that makes him a valuable part of the Superior team.

Progress continues on one of Northeastern PA's biggest residential builds! This week our crew tackled the exterior electrical service — running conduit up the brick, landing feeders into the meter bank, and coordinating to tie everything in safely. 🔌

Every single connection has to be precise. From pulling wire through conduit to making up the final terminations at the panel, our team is putting in the detailed work that keeps a project like this on schedule and up to code. 💪

More updates coming as this build moves closer to completion — proud to be part of a project bringing quality housing to the Hazleton community. 🏗️
