A small berm next to a blue line stream built to prevent water back-up into the yard if we would have another flood related situation. The culvert will drain runoff from the yard but give the owner the option to close the outlet side with a floodgate if needed. The borrow site doubles as a large burn pit.

This 10’x7’ box was removed due to structural issues and replaced with double 72” pipes. Tapers were cut to assist with higher water flow and rip-rap was placed to help prevent erosion. Special thanks to Knodel Transportation for hauling clay, rock, and gravel!
