Installation of the Cleancut Safety Step includes cutting a section of the existing bathtub and custom fitting the resulting opening with a Cleancut Safety Step. Similar to the Cleancut Safety Step, the Cleancut Convertible, with insert also provides easier access into the bathtub area and does not require the removal of the existing bathtub. Ladies and and gentlemen, we have a steel bathtub to shower conversion that has been given the Next Level treatment. This is a legacy job for me. I had worked for the family last year. This job was in the famous Levittown, NY. Houses were built here in the 1940's for the veterans, returning from WW2. These homes were affordable, priced at 5k each. Now they're worth over 700k, especially now that we've added value with the Quick Tub. The Quick Tub is convertible back to a tub in just seconds! Sometimes, my clients can't be present with me when I do their installations. In this case, I texted a photo to Nina, showing her where I would install the grab bars, indicated with tape. After a couple of phone calls, we agreed on the final outcome. Working together with clients is what I do best. Here, we have a cast iron tub that has been converted to a safe, step-in shower. Included is an AquaGrip, non-slip comfort surface on the Quick Tub insert, as well as the bathtub surface. 3 grab bars coplete the transition and now Nina can enjoy peace-of-mind that her dad will be safe when he comes home. I pulled my hamstring when I climbed over this deathtrap just before I converted it. Ouch. We have an acryllic, extremely tall bathtub that the O.T. reccommended my client have converted. Maria is so happy now! I installed a de-badged, cleancut extra deep and if you notice, the factory puts this gritty plastic surface on it. I insralled an AquaGrip, concrete grey non-slip comfort step over that and BAM! We have a new hand shower, a 24" grab bar under the window and a tub-mounted grab handle.
