Waterfront Connectivity – Morgan Falls Park Trail Connector, Sandy Springs, GA

Backwoods Bridges is proud to showcase this 3,128 LF x 12′ wide boardwalk system at the Morgan Falls Park Trail Connector in Sandy Springs, Georgia. Designed to connect the community with the surrounding natural environment, this project also includes three scenic overlook structures that provide incredible waterfront views along the trail.

This timber-framed pedestrian bridge features durable concrete decking, powder-coated steel handrails, and horizontal stainless steel cable infill, creating a clean, modern aesthetic while maximizing long-term performance and preserving open sightlines across the water.

Built using our proven top-down construction methods, this multi-use trail infrastructure was carefully constructed to minimize environmental impact while delivering a safe, durable, and low-maintenance pathway for pedestrians and cyclists alike.
