🌊 Built for the Coast – Port Aransas, TX 🌊

Built for more than just a walk to the beach! This 830′ x 10′ wide boardwalk and dune crossing in Port Aransas, Texas provides plenty of room for pedestrians and beach carts alike.

The project features two viewing platforms and a dedicated passing area, creating convenient beach access while helping protect the surrounding coastal dunes and sensitive environment.

🧹 The Job Isn't Finished Until the Site Is Clean 🧹

A project doesn't end when the last board is installed,it ends when our crew leaves the site looking as good as the finished structure itself.

Here's one of our team members putting the finishing touches on a project with a final cleanup. At Backwoods Bridges, we believe craftsmanship goes beyond building exceptional timber bridges and boardwalks. It also means respecting the communities, parks, and natural environments where we work.

Designed for strength, safety, and long-term durability, this boardwalk features concrete decking, stainless steel hardware, and PVC-coated wire mesh infill, creating a low-maintenance, high-performance solution for multi-use trail systems. Each section was constructed using our proven top-down construction methods to minimize environmental impact while preserving the natural surroundings.
