🇺🇸 Two Great Ways to Support Our Local Veterans! 🇺🇸

Fremont Area Habitat for Humanity has two incredible events coming up on Saturday, September 12th, and we would love to see our community come together to help make both of them a success!

🔨 ROCK THE BLOCK 2026
Habitat will be completing repairs on the homes of area veterans, and we could really use some additional volunteers! Whether you have construction experience or are simply willing to lend a hand, there are ways for everyone to help.

📍 141 S Union St., Fremont
🥞 Pancake Breakfast – 7:30 AM
🦺 Safety Briefing – 8:15 AM
🍴 Lunch – Noon

❤️ FREE APPRECIATION DINNER
That evening, Fremont Area Habitat for Humanity is hosting a FREE Appreciation Dinner for our military members, veterans, police officers, firefighters, EMS workers and their families.

📍 Clemmons Park – 2476 E. 16th St., Fremont
📅 Saturday, September 12th
⏰ 5:00–7:00 PM
🍽️ Up to 500 complimentary meals from Salt and Pepper BBQ will be available on a first-come, first-served basis!

This is such a great opportunity to serve those who have served and continue to serve our community.

Last night, someone blew through the stop sign at Linden and Somers and completely demolished our son’s car before leaving the scene. We are trying to identify the vehicle involved and are asking the community to keep an eye out for any vehicle with fresh front-end damage. Based on the damage, it appears the vehicle may sit higher off the ground, possibly an SUV or truck.

We are actively working with the police and checking with neighbors, along with Linden Elementary School, to see if any security footage may have captured the accident.

If you saw anything, have camera footage from the area, or notice a vehicle with recent front-end damage, please contact Roy at (402) 380-6825.
