We were blessed to take over this account at the Potawatomi Inn for this season and beyond! We recently cleaned things up to get things ready for the busy season that is upon us! In the process of this one we trimmed, weeded, cleaned up bed lines, hauled away over 18 yards of leaves and debris, and installed over 23 yards of fresh mulch along with annuals to pop in some color!

We took care of this small timber retaining wall build recently in the Lake James area for some repeat customers. The goal here was to get things reinforced for a small structure the homeowner was building himself. In the process of this one we excavated, install roughly 70 square feet of treated 6X6’s to match other walls installed last year, and finished things off with topsoil inside the wall. We took care of this small job recently in the Hamilton area. The primary goal here was to rebuild/reset a small timber retaining wall that had pushed over time. In the process of this one we excavated and removed the existing wall, replaced rotten material as needed, and put things back together with plenty of reinforcement for the new wall to last a very long time.

While we were there we also addressed a plugged drain tile by digging up the old one and replacing it to route in a better direction that fit the needs of the homeowners. We recently finished up a couple of spring clean-up jobs in the Glendarin area as well as the Crooked Lake area for some great repeat customers. Obviously the end result goals were the same for each but we repaired edging, installed new stone in light areas, cut clean bed lines, cleaned up landscape beds, and finished things off with fresh mulch where needed.

Thanks again to a very busy and hectic spring (no complaints!) we are a little late getting our posts for the season started. We wrapped up this one a few weeks ago for some repeat customers in the Lake James area. The goal here was to minimize a few different water issues that had occurred due to the slope.

In the process of this one, we excavated, installed drainage behind a retaining wall and increased the wall height, leveled some rock steps and installed additional stone to prevent water from pushing sediment down the hill (and over the window frame as shown in one picture).

We finished our last big job of the year up a couple weeks ago in the Hamilton area and due to the weather recently we were blessed to get it finished. Although we worked around the entire home, the main goal was to get the lake side of the beautiful new construction home more functional and usable.

In the process of this one we excavated, installed over 30 ton of small boulders to create side walls, installed rock steps, installed over 200 square feet of retaining wall block, and finished things off with topsoil for parts of the lawn and river rock in the beds.

This was a 5 gallon bucket job as it was all hand work due to access. Things turned out great and I can’t thank my help enough. Special thanks to Good Times Horticulture Company and JD Landscaping for providing extra hands, and to Mason Badman, Zander Reetz, and Dylan Oberlin for your assistance as well.

Although the calendar is moving quickly along with Mother Nature our schedule has still been crazy busy. We finished this one up recently in the Fremont area for some great customers. The goal here was to ensure the Railroad tie retaining walls would last another 20 plus years and allow easier access down the hillside towards the lake.

In the process of this one we excavated, removed over 8 yards of rotten wood and debris, installed new walls and steps, and finished things off with pea stone to match the existing look. It might not appear that much was done from the pictures but we replaced over 30 Railroad ties with stronger reinforcement. Thank you so much for the business and enjoy your cleaner space.

We finished this job up about a week ago in the Lake James area for some repeat customers. The goal here was to create a fire pit and patio space overlooking the beautiful view of the lake. Due to limited access this one was all hand work and we removed over 7 ton of dirt and sod by 5 gallon bucket to make way for the build. In the process of this one we excavated, installed over 160 square feet of flagstone, installed the fire pit, added small boulders as a retaining wall around the new patio, and finished things off with 9 rock steps to access the area.

We took care of this fun job in the Fremont area a couple weeks back. The goal here was to finish off the landscaping to match the beautiful new construction look that was already there. In the process of this one we excavated, brought in over 60 ton of fresh topsoil, installed downspout tile, installed a variety of perennials and ornamentals, installed over 130 feet of edging, and finished things off with 8 yards of black lava rock. In addition we installed the lawn which was the finishing touch!
