Account Manager
We are an award-winning quality landscape firm that places true value on integrity. We are currently seeking a full-time Account Manager to join our exceptional team of land care professionals. The ideal candidate will have a 4-year degree in horticulture and 1 year of landscape management experience, or equivalent landscape management experience. Knowledgeable in all facets of landscape production including irrigation systems, spray equipment, and chemicals. The ideal candidate will also have a proven track record in a landscape production position. Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Description
To oversee the maintenance process of landscape accounts. To ensure that the maintenance is being performed to the exact specifications (and satisfaction) of the client. To generate good client relations and effectively manage the maintenance crews.
Primary Responsibilities
- Managing and training maintenance crews so that they deliver quality services
- Meeting with clients to discuss their budgets and landscape needs
- Creating small scale landscape designs as enhancement pieces to existing maintenance accounts
- Attending monthly meetings with homeowner associations to discuss maintenance progress and possible concerns.
- Maintaining administrative paperwork: work orders, bid proposals, client requests, invoices, etc.
- Providing production staff with the specifications of the client prior to servicing the landscape
- Ensuring maintenance crews are properly equipped and prepared prior to starting their routes.
- Working closely with the Department Manager and colleagues to meet department goals
Minimum Qualifications
- Preferred B.S in Horticultural Science with an emphasis in landscape maintenance (or related field) plus 1 year of landscape management experience;
or equivalent professional landscape management experience
- Estimating skills highly desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills in order to interface with employees and clients at all levels
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Attention to detail and organization a must
- Excellent ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
