We are looking for a qualified diesel mechanic to join our team.

Responsible for repairs and maintenance on our fleet of Peterbilt trucks as well as loaders, forklifts and assisting in maintenance to the concrete batch plant and concrete reclaimer on an as needed basis.

This is a full time position.

Job Responsibilities:
**Repair and maintain trucks, loader, forklift; including mixers, dump trucks, flat bed.
**Specialize in vehicle transmission systems
**Perform routine vehicle maintenance
**Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
**Perform quality inspections prior to releasing the vehicle back on the road
**Review driver vehicle inspection logs and sign off when repairs are completed

Qualifications:
***Previous experience as a mechanic; ideally with Peterbilt trucks
***Knowledge of shop equipment
***Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
***Deadline and detail-oriented
***Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
***Ability to work efficiently
***Welding Experience
***A/C experience

A message from the Family of John Robert Dent, known as Jack, owner of Tri City Rock.

Please join us as we celebrate the life of John Robert Dent, known as Jack, on Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 11:00 -2:00 at Tri City Rock 43157 Osgood Rd. Fremont, Ca.

After several years battling multiple back surgeries and Parkinson's disease, Jack was overtaken by Covid-19 and passed away on December 19, 2020.

Jack was a strong and generous man with a tremendous determination and will for life. He was passionate about the business that he built, his beloved 1940 Ford Coupe and always believed that family came first. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend and employer. Always eager to lend a hand to a friend in need.

Jack wouldn't want a somber gathering, he would want us celebrating him and reminiscing on the joy he brought to so many lives. Please come pay your respects to his family and help celebrate the wonderful man that Jack was.

In lieu of flowers we ask for donations to be made in Jack's honor to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Foundation.
