Most people think tree care is all about pruning or removal, but that's not always the case.

For some mature trees, a growth regulator like Cambistat can be a valuable tool. It works by slowing excessive top growth and redirecting energy toward the root system, helping trees better handle drought, environmental stress, and the challenges of growing in urban landscapes.

Every tree is different, which is why we don't recommend the same treatment for every property. During an evaluation, our certified arborists can determine whether a growth regulator is the right fit based on the tree's species, condition, and growing environment.

Yellow leaves with green veins can be a sign of chlorosis.

We commonly see it in oak, maple, and birch trees growing in our area. Even when iron is present in the soil, some trees aren't able to absorb it effectively because of soil conditions.

After evaluating the tree, our arborists may recommend a trunk injection to deliver treatment directly into the tree.

Many tree problems begin years before homeowners notice anything is wrong.

Issues like buried root flare, girdling roots, and soil compaction develop slowly underground, often without obvious signs in the canopy at first.

By the time a tree starts showing visible decline, the root system may have been under stress for quite a while.

That's one reason regular inspections can be so valuable. Catching issues early often provides more options for preserving a tree and avoiding larger problems down the road.

We had a blast taking part in the JCF Days Parade today. Seeing so many families and familiar faces lining the streets makes us proud to call this community home.

Last night's storm unfortunately did some major damage around Fremont.

Today, our crew has been out helping homeowners deal with the cleanup. This tree split during the storm and came down across two vehicles. Thankfully, no one was hurt.

Days like today are busy, but helping people through situations like this is exactly why we're here.
