New Enforcement Policy for Well Registration:

The policy outlines the following process for noncompliance.

Written or email notification of potential violation (a warning)
1st violation – Written Notice of Violation with 90 days to comply, plus payment of late fees.
2nd Violation – Up to $500 civil penalty, plus any late fees, and 90 days to comply
3rd Violation or more – Up to $1,000 civil penalty, plus $100 for every day on which the violation continues, plus any late fees

Bruce's story breaks our hearts because he once HAD a home and a family.

Bruce was adopted as a puppy and grew up with a little boy. That was the life he knew.

Then one day, while Bruce was eating, the boy was very close to his face and Bruce bit him.

And everything changed.

Suddenly, the family and home he had known were gone.

💔 Bruce was confused. He didn't understand what he had done wrong or why his whole world disappeared.

Bruce came back to us carrying fear and uncertainty from everything he had been through.

We want to make something very clear — Bruce does NOT live in a crate.

Our rescue sits on 2.5 acres, and our dogs have room, enrichment and people who love them.

But a rescue is still NOT A HOME. 💔

At adoption events, Bruce struggles when he has to be crated around unfamiliar people, dogs, noise and activity. He becomes overwhelmed and barks.

People see that moment and walk past him.

They never get to see the REAL Bruce.

Today on his Doggy Day Field Trip, we got to see that dog. 🥹

🐾 HOUSETRAINED
🐾 Listens well
🐾 Loves getting out and exploring
🐾 So happy to have one-on-one attention

For a little while, Bruce looked like somebody's dog again. 😭

Then the outing ended and we had to bring him back to the rescue.

Back to the same 2.5 acres he's been looking out from.

Back to waiting for someone to finally choose him.

🏡 BRUCE DESPERATELY NEEDS AN EXPERIENCED FOSTER OR ADOPTER.

Temporary foster.
Weekend foster.
Sleepover.
Forever home.

Any of these could give Bruce more opportunities to experience life outside of rescue and help us continue working with him.

We will ALWAYS be honest about his bite history. Bruce needs someone who understands boundaries, structure and responsible management.

Bruce had a family once.

He was just a puppy who thought he'd already found his forever.

Now we need someone to show him that his story didn't end the day he lost that home. 💔🐾

⛔️ To HP Water Systems, Inc patrons, local community and commuters ⛔️

Beginning June 25th, Cal-Trans will begin construction that may impact our entrances and exits. We ask the community and commuters to please be mindful of our company vehicles as they enter and exit traffic. We thank you in advance for your understanding and patience.

FRESNO COUNTY — The Department of Transportation (Caltrans), in cooperation with Pave Tech Inc., announces the State Route 180 Rumble Strip Project in Fresno County to begin Thursday, June 25th, 2026.

This project will install rumble strip along State Route 180 in Fresno County between just east of Blythe Avenue and just east of Goldenrod Avenue, and Modoc Avenue and Belmont Avenue.

The rumble strips will be installed along the shoulder and centerline throughout the project limits and are designed to alert distracted drivers and prevent roadway departures.

Caltrans reminds you to drive with extra care and allow additional travel time while travelling in the construction area. Please be alert for Road Construction Personnel and “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
