Are garage conversions a trend for the future?

Recently, we have completed our second garage conversion project within a short span of a few months. The client's primary goal was to enhance their living space by adding a more spacious living room and increasing the overall livable square footage of their home. Our team was responsible for raising and insulating the floor, removing the garage door opening and constructing a new wall, installing a new window, replacing the man door with a sliding glass door, updating the electrical panel, and running new electrical wiring for the living room. Furthermore, we insulated the ceiling and walls, created a new entrance to the existing house, extended the basement stairs, converted the old entrance into a pantry, and finished all drywall work.

We worked closely with the client throughout the project to ensure that our work met their expectations. The client chose to have us complete the project up to a certain stage, allowing them to finish the new living room with painting, flooring, trim, and a basement door.

Another one done! ✅️ Our client sought to revamp their cottage bedroom, tired of the same old aesthetic.

We initiated the makeover by demolishing the entire room, then upgraded the electrical infrastructure, installed a new sliding door, and added a bracket for a ceiling fan. Subsequently, we insulated the walls and ceiling, and installed new drywall.

In keeping with our collaborative approach, this client opted to undertake the painting process themselves to minimize costs. We prepared the room up to the priming stage, enabling them to paint. Upon completion, we returned to finalize the trim, caulking, and conduct a thorough cleanup.

We may not have been posting much recently, but that doesn't mean we aren't busy.

When a client proposes an idea and seeks your expertise on its viability, you undertake the necessary measures to turn it into a reality. As seen in this transformation of a 2-car garage into a master kitchen with a walk-in pantry and utility rooms for a new tankless water tank and furnace.

Although we haven't posted updates recently, our team has remained highly active. Our motto, 'no job too big or small, give us a call,' reflects our commitment to versatility.

Over the past few weeks, we've been diligently working on a 20x30x37 addition for a valued client, accommodating their request for a two-stage process. Stage one, constructing the shell, has yielded excellent results, and our client is eagerly anticipating the completion of stage two, the interior finishing, at a later date.
