Basement flake project

We showed up with a 30” grinder, so what happens when we can’t do this? We grinded the entire floor by hand 😎💪🏼

Hard work, grit and sweat. Grinded by hand. Top coat, we used a 98% solids Polyaspartic. Even though, UV with the sun. But lightbulbs will color and damage a non UV stable product.

Client wanted something on the grey side. Something to blend in, nothing to make statements. We do custom blends, and this base fits this customer perfectly!

This floor took a week (metallic floors take longer than your typical 24hr flake install)

Remove the flake floor, grind down.
Once we got that up we installed a moisture v***r burrier primer.
Then we installed a base coat.
Then it was our metallic design.
He wanted something different then the standard river diagonal lines.
He wanted a unique design with a sort of figure 8 movement to get the curves.

Then we finished it with a gloss ceramic top coat 😎
