What a great day supporting an incredible cause!

Yard Works Gulf Coast was proud to sponsor the 2nd Annual John F. Paul Memorial Golf Tournament hosted by the League City Police Department. The event helps raise funds for community programs that positively impact League City residents of all ages, including scholarships, Blue Santa, Senior Citizen Services, Teen Police Academy, National Night Out, and assistance programs for those in need.

This event holds special meaning for our team, as our owner, Brandon, proudly served as a League City Police Officer before founding Yard Works Gulf Coast. Supporting the department, its officers, and the programs that strengthen our community is something we are honored to do.

We're also incredibly thankful for the friendships we've built through our business and within our community. A special thank you to Natalie and Sam Hafele of Hafele Homes Group for thinking of us and sending over a photo featuring our Yard Works Gulf Coast sign. Relationships like these are what make serving our community so rewarding.

A huge thank you to the League City Police Department, the event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who participated. We are grateful for the opportunity to give back and help support the outstanding work being done throughout our community.

Project Update!

A few weeks ago, this project got an unexpected visitor when a pig stopped by to check out the progress. 🐷

Fast forward to today, and the patio portion of the project is officially complete. The outdoor living space is really starting to come together, and we’re excited to see the final result.

The pool is now in the final stages and will be completed soon by Southern Charm Pools.

This backyard is shaping up to be an incredible space for entertaining, relaxing, and making memories for years to come.

Hurricane season officially starts today on the Gulf Coast. 🌪️

One thing we take seriously at Yard Works Gulf Coast is building outdoor structures the right way. Our patio covers are engineered and built to meet local windstorm requirements when applicable — because outdoor living on the Gulf Coast should be designed for durability, not just looks. 🇺🇸

From permits and engineering to the final build, we take pride in creating outdoor spaces built for where we live.

From concept to construction. We’ve officially started this custom outdoor living project in the Avalon neighborhood of Friendswood and this one is going to be a good one.

This design features a fully custom L-shaped outdoor kitchen with a dedicated drop-down smoker station for a cleaner built-in look and easier cooking access. The layout was designed to maximize prep space, storage, cooking zones, and entertaining space while tying everything together into one cohesive backyard setup.

We’re also handling all electrical and setup work for the outdoor sauna to help create a true backyard retreat experience.

Projects like this are why planning and design matter. Function, flow, and making sure every feature works together before construction even starts.

In observance of Memorial Day, Yard Works Gulf Coast will be closed Monday as we take time to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
