A tale as old as time..

Big things are on the horizon.

Dr. Paige Denny, PT, DPT spent the morning sharing the idea behind Home Mobility Planning — helping families make smarter decisions about their homes, mobility, and what comes next.

And yes, our Home Mobility Planner made the cut.

We partnered with Ilse Benard Designs to choose a color that actually fit the home, not just what’s trending. Finished with Sherwin Williams Emerald Rain Refresh after full preparation of washing, re-washing, scraping, repairing, spot-priming and caulking every seam before a drop of topcoat went on.

That’s the part nobody sees. It’s also what will make it last.

Today we met a gentleman who was simply frustrated. Some of us never think twice about taking a shower. That’s all he wanted. He didn’t want a remodel. He didn’t want anything fancy. He just wanted to be able to shower safely and on his own.

That’s where this partnership means so much.

Dr. Denny, a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified-Aging-In-Place Specialist makes personalized in-home visits to ensure one thing: people remain safe, independent and comfortable.

We’re happy to partner with Stay At Home Texas because it’s not about a few pieces of hardware on the wall. We left this man with renewed confidence, peace of mind and the ability to maintain his independence with dignity.

Moments like this remind me that what we’re building isn’t just for homes, it’s for the people who live in them.

There’s something about your shop that makes it a creative space where some of your best ideas happen. To be frank, I haven’t read all of these. But when I’m in brainstorming mode or want to draw inspiration but keep everything “period correct” I love having references at my fingertips. As I type this I realize that I need more books! How about you? Do you have a creative space where your best thoughts come through?

Most people judge a paint job by its final color.
We judge it by everything that happens before the first coat goes on.

Masking, sanding, filling, spot priming after spot repairs..

The prep work is what determines whether a finish looks good for six months or still looks good for years to come.

Many can paint, few can prep.
