Landscape Laborer
We are currently seeking labors in Landscape Maintenance, Mowing and installation to join our team.
Our goal is to provide our clients with the best possible landscaping services by utilizing our comprehensive knowledge and strategies and delivering workmanship that consistently meets the industries’ highest standards.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Assist in spring clean-up, mulching, weeding of beds, pruning of shrubs, shop clean-up, fall clean-up, process, and landscape installation as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
• Minimum of 1- years of safe efficient mowing/trimming techniques on residential and commercial properties.
• Proficiency in the operation of walk-behind/riding mowers to cut and remove grass clippings.

Salary: $12.00 to $14.00 /hour

Landscape Installation Crew Leader
Landscape Installation Leader. This position is for those who have gained experience, this person will be responsible for working with and the oversight of several crew members to ensure the work is performed in a timely and proficient manner according to company and industry standards. This is a physical field job. Persons in this position are expected to physically work every day as well as be involved with the training of laborers. A successful candidate will have a strong attendance record, a positive attitude, and show suitable knowledge for the position.
Requirements
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to drive a truck with a trailer
• Ability to drive and operate various types of landscape equipment (skid-steer,
• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience
• Experience and understanding of plant, shrub and tree installation
• Experienced in mulching, finish grading, sod installation, edging, etc.
• Basic irrigation knowledge is preferred
• Be responsible for the productivity, quality, and efficiency of the crew
• Fully understand and fill out appropriate electronic paperwork as required
• Assume training responsibility as required
• Demonstrate role model behavior and integrity
• Provide a positive and motivated attitude
• Ability to work some overtime and weekends as necessary
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
• Additional experience from landscaping, horticulture or landscape construction is desired
• Loading materials and tools for a job each day. (Must be able to lift 50 pounds above shoulder)
Functions
• Communicate with crew members
• Ability to speak and understand Spanish is preferred
• Communicate with customers as necessary
• Assure all equipment, tools and truck are kept clean and organized
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Willingness to continue knowledge and growth in the industry as required

• Accomplish daily production goals per budget information and contractual agreements.
• Complete and submit daily documentation of the work that was completed.
• Instruct, supervise, and train personnel as needed.
• Be accountable and work independently with minimum supervision.
• Develop strong clientele relationships.
• Report maintenance/ repairs on assigned equipment operation manager
• Keep truck and equipment clean.
• Understand the basic mixing and application methods of chemical agents such as herbicides and fertilizer.
• Assist in spring clean-up, mulching, weeding of beds, pruning of shrubs, shop clean-up, fall clean-up, process, and landscape installation as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
• Minimum of 1-3 years of safe efficient mowing/trimming techniques on residential and commercial properties.
• Proficiency with the operation of walk-behind/riding mowers to cut and remove grass clippings.
• Proficiency with the operation of all power equipment used in the operations of landscape maintenance.
• Proficiency with the operation of driving and backing a truck/trailer combination.
• Must possess strong leadership, communication (both written and verbal) and organizational skills.
• Maintain a professional image, attitude and encourage teamwork among crew members by setting examples and adhering to all YB company policies and procedures.
