A garbage truck collided with this residential sliding gate, causing severe structural and mechanical damage. The impact shattered the wood privacy pickets and completely cracked the LiftMaster operator's protective housing. Internally, the heavy collision destroyed the operator's timing belt, damaged the drive chain, and compromised the circuit board housing. Our team provided a complete, single-call restoration. We rebuilt the operator's internal mechanics, replacing the split timing belt and realigning the chain drive. Next, we repaired the circuit board housing and installed a brand-new protective cover. Shifting Texas clay soil is the number one enemy of sliding driveway gates. For this recent Dallas project, the gate's original track was installed on individual steel piers. Over time, ground movement and moisture caused those piers to rust, shift, and fall apart, completely derailing the gate. Our structural repair team removed the failing piers and poured a continuous, heavily reinforced concrete track base. By anchoring the new V-track directly into a solid concrete foundation, we permanently eliminated ground-shifting issues.
