It is with great displeasure that we are closing up business. There is a multitude of reasons for this, one is rising costs to operate at a small client rate and a nagging health condition involving the back. We want to thank all those who we have had the opportunity to meet and get to know. We wish you all the best of luck in your paths moving forward. Again thank you for your business.

Its been a while, weather is beginning to cool and days are starting to get shorter. Meaning grass growth will begin to slightly slow down. Kyle was out all last week due to a significant injury to his back. He will be attempting this week as much as manageable. Begining in October service will begin bi weekly. We thank you for you business and following. For the do it your selfers now-Oct is a good time to put down a good pre-emergant with fertilizer. The best in his opinion over the counter is Scott's bonus S (the purple bag).

It's that time of the year where the little white moths arrive and are in your grass. If you walk in your yard and see these guys fly up it's time to call your local lawn pest control. These guys are the bad guys, it's there larve you don't see them and everything it going well until they hatch. After hatch they will destroy a lawn in the matter of a few days. Please have you lawn company treat. If you don't have one go to ace hardware and purchase what's on the picture. To stay ahead of it. We are beginning to get into the bug fungus and chinch phase of the year. Continue to follow for tips.

Oh also turn of your sprinklers or ensure your rain gage is in proper working order. There is no current need to water the lawns with all the rain.

First off it's Kyle I'm doing better and back out working on accounts. Thank you for being understanding.

Now to the next issue (not just for me but all companies) due to the rising cost of goods, service, and fuel we will be having to rise our prices. This is somthing I dreaded to do and have held off as long as possible. Once invoices go out there is a notice there letting all our customers know that this will be effective starting July 1. Thank you for understanding.

Last item, as you all know the amount of rain we have been getting for the last two weeks has now caught up to all our yards. I know I'm not just speaking for my company but many others, we ask that you be understanding in the event if we are unable to cut your lawn due to the ground being to saturated. Our machines will cause more damage then good. Trust me when I say we all would love nothing more to cut as this is a way many companies put food on their tables and keep the lights on with. These pictures are to show you what we all are dealing with using a push mower. This weather is coming to an end and will become more seasonal come next week according to the weather. If we are not able to get to you it's because we are push mowing yards that desperately need to be cut. But in most cases we are bypassing those accts till the following week.

To all of our customers, we would like to apologize for this week as kyle will not be able to be out this week since he has taken on a cold, that our children had brought home from the last week of school. As soon as he is better he will be back out there. Again we do apologize and we will see you soon.

As the warmer weather begins to approach to becoming more consistent, we will begin service in the month of February at the bi weekly basis. For those who fertilize its best to begin this come the second-third week of February. For SOD its best to wait until the end of March to the beginning of April. We look forward to seeing you this coming 2021 year remember if theres a question on anything we are here to assist you.

As our florida winter has begun so has the dormant season. At this time we have scaled back and will be providing cuts to our customers on the on call basis through our winter. Remember if the lawn stays slightly longer then in the summer growth over the winter it allows the lawn to stay greener throughout the winter and helps keep weeds out come spring. With shorter days the longer blade will attain more sun allowing better photothensis. If calling or requesting service please email,or text, we will not cut the same day as the call or possibly the next day. If your route day has passed it will be the following week. Thank you all. Please be blessed and have a wonderful Christmas and new year if we do not see you until after.

Today's tip.

Lately we have been seeing and getting asked questions about little moths in people's lawns. It is early to see them this time of year, but with all the rain its helped fuel the infestation.

These little boogers are the signs of Sod Web Worm! Sod Web Worm will devastate your lawn rapidly if gone un-treated, its not the moth that is as much of the problem its there larvae that live in the root/soil and base of the blade of grass. You can get over the counter insecticide to combat the issue or call your pest control company right away to have a treatment applied. You can also call us and we can assist you in getting the right chemical to get rid of these bad guys.

Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July.
Please stay safe in this time and feel free to reach out for any concerns or guidance.

We do Sod and irrigation. Happy customer and tired crew but we love it. Can't wait to feed the new lawn in 3 weeks and see where it goes. Please remember to water your lawns. Check your systems and make sure your watering your lawn at least 20 minutes each zone every other day. By doing this it will help avoid having to replace your lawn. We thank our wonderful customers for the opportunity to work for you. Call today for any advice or if we can help you too. We are local JCP residents and love helping keep our community green.

We would like to thank all those who are working countless hours working in public. We know that there are some out there that feel their above those who are. Please understand not everyone believes in this thought process and don't let the few get you down, don't let the 5 bad apples spoil the 100 others in the batch. We thank you as do many others and it doesn't go unnoticed.

Thank you,

Our family

Tip of the Week: Many times this part of the year you will find theses guys starting to pop up. These are Mushrooms and are the common indicator telling you that there's over watering going on in your lawn. Best thing to do when you find these little boogers is bring back your watering time 5 minutes in the zones that are showing this growth. If that doesn't work bring it back another 5 minutes the following week. Also ensure that your rain sensor is in good working order. Remember St. Augustine grass is temperamental and sometimes it takes time to understand it or a professional to help guide you along the way. Please feel free to call for any questions, quotes, or to sign up for service. Thank you and God Bless from us here.
