Most Florida homeowners brace for hurricane season when it starts in June. The data tells a different story.
According to NOAA, September is historically the most active month for major Atlantic hurricanes. The Gulf is warmest. The conditions are most favorable. And Florida is right in the path.
A roof that barely made it through July and August is not going to handle September well. If your roof is 12 years or older, or if it has had storm events this summer, now is the time to get a professional set of eyes on it before the peak of peak season arrives.
