Happy Monday let the week begin!! On older homes they use single pane glass and that is an easy way for heat to get into your home this summer. Replacing older windows/sliding doors can significantly decrease energy consumption due to better insulation. With double pane windows there is a gas in between the windows that keeps the heat out during summer months and keeps the heat inside during the winter.
