OCCI welcomes our 2026 Summer Interns: Noah Hurst, Trenton Kingery, Wyatt Meldrum, Anderson Brown, Dylan Grossl and Zachariah Bogart!

Over the next few months, our interns will gain hands-on experience, working alongside current team members and contributing to our construction sites, our fabrication shop and in our IT department at the home office. We're thrilled to have such a talented group! It's going to be a great summer!

Today we’re proud to celebrate an incredible milestone for our Construction Division — one full year without a recordable injury!!

In the heavy civil construction industry, this is no small accomplishment. It reflects the dedication, accountability, and teamwork of every employee who made safety a priority every single day.

At OCCI, the safety and well-being of our employees will always come first.

This achievement was only possible because everyone pitched in, looked out for one another, followed procedures, and stayed committed to creating a safe work environment on every jobsite.

OCCI is seeking a motivated, safety-minded professional to join our Welding and Fabrication Team located at our home office, 10 minutes East of Columbia, Missouri. Our team members build our nation’s infrastructure, completing assigned work in the AISC certified, welding and fabrication shop. This role performs code-compliant hand and robotic welding across multiple processes, primarily Flux Core and Submerged Arc. If you like to learn, prefer to have variety in your work assignments and can adapt to changing priorities, we encourage you to apply. Prior experience is not required; we will provide on-the-job training to motivated team members. Competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, paid time off (PTO), and a 4x10 work schedule, with overtime are included.
