CWD recently installed an HTO (Hardness, Taste and Odor) unit to treat municipal water. Most city water in upstate NY maintains a hardness level that can cause build up on fixtures and appliances. This unit softens the water and has an activated carbon tank to remove chlorine and other undesirables.
