New Hope Farm

New Hope Farm New Hope Farm is a small hobby farm in Mid-Missouri. We are a small family and disabled veteran farm! We grow and process our own meat and vegetables.

We rase chickens and sell the meat and eggs. We have 2 freeze dryers that we use for preserving food.

We spent the weekend doing some late spring cleaning on the farm. We got the rabbit and chicken areas all mulched in.

I will FOREVER be a believer in Aviator from starbar that I get from the local feed store Twillmans. I HATE flies but with animals, you have p**p and with p**p you have flies. Doesn't matter how much you do or dont clean. This porch was clean last night and I sprayed 4 days ago. Still killing flies!

For mothers day we decided to cook dinner and invite some family over. We decided to cook one of our home grown 7.5 pound chickens that we raised here on the farm. We decided to put it in the crock pot for 8 hours and do loaded baked potatoes with it! It turned out amazing!!!
We fed 12 people (6 younger) and still had almodt 2 pounds of chicken left over, to say that we are impressed with this new breed that we have been growing is an understatement!!! All we managed to get was a picture of the left overs in a gallon bag. If you would like to try some of this chicken please reach out. We have a limited amount available but we will be taking orders for more once we get our flock to where we want it to be.
