This is the six-month anniversary of the deadly tornado that ripped through Fultondale, Alabama on January 25, 2021. This is an appropriate time to remember those who lose their lives, loved ones and homes in natural disasters. These things are tragic, and we grieve. Their purpose is to remind the people of God:

“…I saw that under the sun the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to the intelligent, nor favor to those with knowledge, but time and chance happen to them all. (Ecclesiastes 9:11, ESV)”
