We just replaced a blower on a customer's Alpha One bead filter. We also replaced their media, multi-port valve label and 2" flex tubing to their waterfall. The pond is starting to clear up now and the waterfall finally running after quite a long time. The customer could not find the 2" flex tubing so our retail affiliate North Florida Aquatic Supply ordered it and we installed it.

Whew! We just moved our facility. What a task. We are now mostly settled in and are offering discounted pond maintenance service contracts in the Gainesville and surrounding areas through the month of July. What a great week of learning. University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences did such a tremendous job with this week's Aquatic W**d Control Short Course.

Massive attendance from applicators and researchers from all over. Well, mostly Florida, but I met one lady from Montana. I can only presume there were others.

It was a great venue and the learning sessions were super informative about all aspects of our work to save our ecosystems. Kudos to all the speakers and the organizers that made it happen.

Invasive species control is a major issue in Florida as well as other places in the US and symposiums like this helps everyone. Let's all do the work, and to coin an important phrase for all of us to remember, 'The label is the law.'

Looking forward to using this week's knowledge and getting more next year.

We're here at the IFAS W**d Control Short Course at the Doubletree in Orlando. Going to get some great info on aquatic control principles. These are very educational and instrumental in keep up with changes in treating ponds and lakes.
