Can I geek out for a minute?
This is one of my favorite sump pump covers.
Why?
Because someone took the time to think about the next person who would need access.
The clear lid lets us inspect the pit, float, and water level without taking everything apart.
That makes inspections easier...
It makes routine maintenance easier...
And it helps homeowners keep an eye on one of the most important systems protecting their basement.
It's a small detail that shows thoughtful craftsmanship.
I wish more contractors installed covers like this.
