A well-maintained HVAC system is more than just home comfort; it's a smart financial strategy.

With the AIM Act rolling out (more on that in the below article), that next system replacement could be a bit more costly than usual.

So, keep your systems well-maintained and increase the life of your HVAC unit.

The shift to low-GWP refrigerants is crucial for our planet. But for homeowners, this means adapting to new HVAC norms.

The AIM Act is setting new standards for HVAC systems, and while it will help the planet, it's important to be aware of how those changes will impact the decisions homeowners make today.

In short, the new standards mean that your next HVAC upgrade may cost more than anticipated.

Check out our recent blog to make sure you are staying ahead of the change.

The AIM Act is causing a splash for homeowners, as it is requiring a shift to new refrigerants. Why do everyday homeowners care?

Because most existing HVAC systems don't work with this new refrigerant.

This means that when your HVAC system needs replacing, it's the whole system that will need to be replaced, not just the unit.

Learn more about what this means for you in our latest blog.

If your HVAC unit is nearing the end of its life, now is the time to upgrade.

There are changes happening in the industry that we expect to impact the supply chain and increase the price of installations.

In summary, in 2025, The AIM Act will require newly installed HVAC systems to use a more environmentally friendly type of refrigerant that isn't compatible with most current systems.

So, instead of just purchasing a new unit, homeowners will need to replace a large part of their HVAC system, which often includes replacing piping in walls throughout the home.

That will increase costs significantly.

Check out our recent blog about the changes and what you can do to prepare.

We're here to guide you every step of the way.
