Cornerstone Management Services, also referred to as CMS, is an exterior envelope contractor proudly serving and located within the Big Sky, MT, community for 20 years. Safety will always come before speed, shortcuts and savings.

Today, the CMS team completed safety audits with the Montana Building Industry Association and Monty Jensen. Exercises like this give us another set of eyes on how we work, where we can improve, and how we can continue building safer job sites for our team and everyone around us.

Being connected with organizations like MBIA helps keep us sharp, current, and accountable when it comes to safety standards and best practices.

There is always more to learn, and when it comes to safety, that matters.

Thank you to our team, families, clients, partners, vendors, friends, and community for showing up, supporting us, and helping shape CMS into what it is today.

Seeing so many people come together to celebrate this milestone was a special reminder that the CMS story has always been about more than just us.

A special congratulations to Andy on 20 years with CMS and Tom on 10 years with CMS. Two milestones worth celebrating and a lot of years spent helping shape the company we are today.

Is it over already??? Counting down the days until we can be back at the best event in Big Sky next summer. Our team has been working so hard this summer, this weekend was a much needed reset going into a late summer and fall production. Huge shoutout to who works on the Big Sky PBR. The effort and attention to detail doesn’t go unnoticed. We are sure the (13th Consecutive) Event of the Year award is on its way to Big Sky once again! Congrats to all the riders and teams for showing off their true skills putting on amazing performances night after night.

Not every project is a large, complex roof replacement or new build.

This week, our Service & Maintenance team responded to a homeowner’s concerns by inspecting a roof system, investigating a potential leak, checking an improperly installed pipe boot, and taking a closer look at a window that needed attention.

CMS didn’t install the original roof, and that didn’t matter.

We weren’t there to sell a new roof. We were there to provide answers, identify what needed attention, and build a plan to get the work done right. Whether it’s a large exterior envelope project or a single service call, we believe every customer deserves the same attention, care, and commitment to doing things the right way.

Every project starts long before construction begins. For Construction Estimator Robby Treadwell, that means helping turn ideas into clear plans and setting projects up for success from day one. His positive attitude, curiosity, and collaborative approach have already made him a valuable part of the CMS team. We’re excited to have Robby on board.
