This customer was experiencing wastewater entering their basement every time they used their kitchen sink upstairs. Found that piping in basement concrete slab had deteriorated. Our best option at that time was to reroute the piping to connect to the main sewer outside of the home instead of spending thousands to bust concrete in finished basement to repair/replace piping. This customer had methane gas constantly infiltrating their home from the day they moved in. Plumbing 101... Every fixture needs a trap and vent.
