Furniture repair? You betcha!
This sectional had a broken front rail and a sag in the middle of each long section.
I scabbed a new rail onto the existing one so the frame is solid again, then made four 7" tapered legs, stained and finished to match the originals, and set them under the center of each 6-ft+ section.
Same look. A lot more support.

Just finished my personal desk.
72” wide × 22” deep × 30” tall. Solid walnut with a mid-century “surfboard” silhouette and a pair of curved leg units at each end, tied together with a rear stretcher.
Sanded to 600 grit and finished with two coats of a 50/50 wipe-on poly and mineral spirits blend, plus a splash of spar varnish.
It’s finally moving all my business work and artwork projects off the dining table — something my wife is very happy about. Still need better lighting, a proper office chair, and eventually some drawers and storage, but the main piece is done and already feels good to sit at.
Happy to finally have a dedicated workspace.
