Aeration Season is upon us! Did you know that core aeration and overseeding offers many benefits for the health of your lawn? Some of the benefits of core aeration include alleviating soil compaction, reduced water puddling, break up of thatch as well as allowing oxygen and nutrients to absorb back into the soil for a healthy lawn.

What is curbside pickup? Some clients enjoy doing their own yardwork, but when it comes to leaf removal they just don't have the means to haul away the large amount of leaves. Waste companies often require many hoops to jump through before they will take your yard waste, if they will take it all. If you sign up for curbside pickup with me, all you have to do is get your leaves to the curb and give me a call. I will come suck them up and haul them away for a small fee! This can be an easier and more affordable way to clean up your leaves.

Leaf trailer update: the trailer is 98% finished! The debris loader, winch mount, false wall and canopy are all installed, truck is wired up. All I have left is to install the intake hose so that it can stow on the side of the trailer for transport.

This trailer will be loaded with the debris loader and will unload itself with the push of a button. Here are some close up pics of the trailer, hopefully this helps somebody out there. I have had the idea of building this type of trailer for a couple years but I have yet to find a post or video by someone with close-up photos of how they actually put it together. Hopefully I will get some video of this trailer in action soon so you can see how it works!

Lots of work went into this, hopefully I can post some more photos over the next few weeks for more detail on what all went into it to make it possible. If you have any questions, let me know.

A small retaining wall I finished up today, before and after photos. This is the first one I have ever built. This was a pretty fun project!

Well after being turned down by multiple fabrication shops, I decided to take on this project myself! Lots of head scratching but it has actually been pretty fun so far. I really have no experience in this department but I am building a custom mount for my trailer to install this 18hp debris loader onto for leaf season. There will also be a winch inside the mount to run a false wall in the trailer. Obviously this combo is not "ideal" but it should tide me over until I purchase a dump trailer.

Who else is running a debris loader setup this year? How is yours mounted?

More info to follow (trailer side as well) as I continue the build! Wish me luck.
