I don't know what compels a company to quote a loyal customer $4100 to disconnect and reconnect 2 condensers for a concrete pour, but I'll gladly take that job off your hands for a fraction of the cost.

Every day it seems I hear someone tell me they were told they can't get r22 or the compressors that pump 'em, and that's sleezy sales tactics. New equipment is more efficient, everyone knows that, but sometimes it's not what's best for the situation. Leak checking for gas leaks the old fashioned way. The sad part is, this wasn’t the only one in this building like this, and they had the correct fitting sitting there the whole time. The building was even inspected during a sale and this got missed.
I’ve never seen a flare-to-female pipe adapter used on a pipe thread fitting before, and I can’t imagine how anyone thought this was remotely correct. To make it even worse, they used Teflon tape on the flare fitting too.
I have a feeling a local company installed these, and this probably isn’t the only one they’ve done like this.

It's been a busy month so far! Here's some of the equipment that has benefitted from our Preventative Maintenance programs for a couple great customers I've gotten to help out.

Walk in cooler evaporator cleaning, we ensure proper superheat through the evaporator at the same time along with clearing the drains.

For the freezers, we correct extended defrost times and bad termination switches that saves energy, something that pays for itself in months!

We always clean condensing units from the inside to avoid pushing junk deeper into the coils. One in particular hasn't been cleaned for years!

For our self-contained merchandise and commercial units, we clean the condensers with a soft brush and blow em out with CO2. We check the gaskets for tears, loose handles and hinge hardware, and check for gunk build up on evaporator fans.

Our price is very fair and always pays for itself with lasting equipment and energy savings.

Pretty proud of this find today! 1.33lb/year leak is a tough one to track down, luckily there was a little oil that made it down the insulation of this suction line that made me tear it off. Still took a few minutes of focus to see this tiny leak. This is a good example of why we clean our solder joints with Emory clothe, I bet there was a little bit of residual electrical tape right there.
I also don't use 45's in my installs, this was a service call.
