Basic roof general maintenance service and some miscellaneous wind damage repair in South Lake Tahoe over the weekend. General maintenance is always neccessary and can only result in further coats and possible water damage to inside the structure if not maintained regularly and properly adding up to big money and headaches. Have your roof inspected and maintained yearly and bi-yearly to assure its and its parts and accessories life span!

On this area ,somebody thought repairing the torn felt paper underlayment with a rags siliconed to torn areas would seal them up. LoL. Idiots!

No felt paper underlayment and short flashing caused leaks in this upper eave area. Lazy non caring workers on a million dollar home. Horrible!

Good thing I had the upper level ladder tied off to roof ridge ,because a huge gust of wind moved the ladder down one row of tiles n buckled the feet under,all while I was on the very top of it. Talk about a heart stopper! Quick reactions and a tight grip on it kept me up there till the wind blew through! Was 20 seconds of holy crap ! Always think ahead n prepare for worst!

Metal flashing crickets during original construction could have aaved homeowner money n headaches on water damage repairs. High end home in mountains with remedial workers when it was built. Horrible. SMH
